VNK stands for air-drying
Air-drying is one of the ways to preserve herbs. It is a good solution for the not-continuous availability of fresh herbs. Air-dried herbs are user friendly.
For many years now, VNK is a specialist in air-drying. This is the basis of our existence. Our highly advanced drying facility in Bidinghuizen, the Netherlands, guarantees the highest quality. Among other things, our controlled drying process guarantees a very good microbiology. Often used sequel processing methods are not necessary anymore. Because of this, your dried product maintains its right colour, scent and taste.
In our joint-venture B&V-Herbs in Bulgaria, we work with the same principles in regard to cultivation, drying and processing as we have been using for many years in the Netherlands. We also work closely together with our partners in the other countries where our herbs originate from. Long cooperation with the same producers in countries like Egypt, Morocco and Turkey have put the quality of the imported herbs on a high level. The imported herbs comply with all the demands of VNK.
